The Stakeholder Consultation process is the application in practice of Metlen’s long-standing commitment to responsible entrepreneurship and to open, social dialogue as a key element of the social resources it harnesses, to ensure its sustainability and to create added value for society at large.
Metlen promotes regular communication with its Stakeholder groups in a variety of ways, the frequency of which stems from the type of relationship built with each group with the aim to understand and actively respond to their needs and expectations.
The practice of Consultation is implemented through local thematic dialogue days and the implementation of electronic consultations.
In 2023, Metlen conducted the Consultation at a central level and online, aiming at the continuous improvement of the Company's practices and the alignment of its approach with Sustainable Development. The active participation of social partners is crucial for gathering essential information that will enable the Company to strengthen its ability to consistently create sustainable value both for itself and for all its stakeholder groups.

The Company, responding to the main requirements of its Social Partners, has undertaken the following basic commitments:
In addition, these commitments define more broadly a framework for responsible business conduct and, in particular, how environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues are managed by each Business Unit and subsidiary of Metlen, with the aim of enhancing their capacity to generate long-term and sustainable value.
